Special Lecture by Professor Jim Hanson of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo

  Professor Jim Hanson of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo has provided a special lecture on Geoenvironmental Engineering as a bridge discipline between geotechnical and environmental engineering. There were around 70 participants who joined the lecture. It was a great lecture on the innovations of CalPoly's Global Waste Research Institute. The outcome of the monitoring of temperature distribution inside the landfill in the different parts of the world was amazing.
